# Ideas stop waiting

I have been shipping more this year than in any year before, and the honest explanation is that nothing changed in me. What changed is that the ideas I had carried in the back of my head for years, project ideas, research questions, things I had never properly put into words, now have a way out. [Kishi](https://raskell.io/articles/learning-to-play/) is one: three game engines and a training loop, which would have been a winter of evenings, done in a month beside a day job. [The handbook](https://raskell.io/series/the-agent-platform-handbook/) is another, and what a working day looks like with the agents in it is in [How I Work These Days](https://raskell.io/articles/how-i-work-these-days/).

I am not faster at the things I already did. A whole category of things has moved from some day to this weekend, and the limiting factor is now how clearly I can say what I want. It feels like a once-in-a-lifetime window, and I think it is one, for a reason I set out in [the window before the utility](https://raskell.io/notes/the-window-before-the-utility/). There is a word for what the window gives a person, and I have come round to it: [power, in the good sense](https://raskell.io/notes/power-in-the-good-sense/).
