Privacy

What raskell.io does and does not do with your data: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking.

The short version: this site does not track you. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no newsletter, and no third-party embeds. Fonts, scripts, and images are all served from raskell.io itself, so reading a page does not make your browser talk to anyone else.

Who is responsible

Raffael Schneider, Basel, Switzerland. This is a personal, non-commercial site. To reach me, use one of the channels under Contact.

Hosting and delivery

The site is a set of static files hosted on GitHub Pages and delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web server, they process your IP address and the usual request details (the page, the time, your browser’s user agent) to deliver the page and to protect the site against abuse. I do not receive these logs and do not use them. GitHub and Cloudflare handle them under their own terms:

Both companies are based in the United States, so this processing can happen outside Switzerland and the EU.

In your browser

If you pick light or dark mode in the footer, your browser remembers the choice in its local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to the site. Clearing your browser data removes it.

If you contact me

If you write to me, I use your name, address, and message only to reply, and I do not pass them on.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and the GDPR if you are in the EU, you can ask what personal data I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. In practice that is at most a message you sent me. You can also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or your local supervisory authority.

If this site ever adds anything that changes the above, this page will change first.
